It’s time to get creative and light up your winter with this wonderful workshop making ceramic lanterns.

No experience is necessary in this fun workshop where you’ll learn to make and hand carve your very own ceramic lantern. You may choose to carve your own specific design or pattern for the light to shine through or create a lacy pattern using hole cutters and carving tools.Your lantern could be taller or differently shaped so feel free to bring a photo of your idea and Storm will guide you through the process from start to finish.

You will then hand glaze your work with a wide variety of glaze colours and options using brushable glazes,

your work will be dried and fired and ready to collect within two weeks.

Your beautiful lantern will add a warm glow to your home or table and can be lit with a candle, battery powered candle or seed lights look great too.

This is a fab way to spend a winter afternoon so whether you come on your own for some creative ‘me time’ or bring a friend you’ll all be part of a group having fun with clay.
